Our Story

Company background

SPN Group provides end-to-end geotechnical engineering (Soil Engineering) and pile testing (Pile Testing) services, delivered by an engineering team with more than 20 years of combined field experience. The group currently operates through two main legal entities: SPN Soil Engineering Co., Ltd. and SPN Pile Test Co., Ltd.

It began as Sam Phi Nong Engineering Ltd., Part., founded by a team of engineers who built on the knowledge and experience they had accumulated, before expanding into specialist companies to handle larger, more complex projects and meet the needs of today’s construction industry.

Our core work is soil investigation and geotechnical soil testing, with the data then used to design and calculate soil bearing capacity for building foundations, roads, embankments and utilities. We also cover pile testing, topographic surveying, instrumentation and design. Reports are prepared to ASTM / DPT standards and certified by licensed engineers.

    Expanding specialist capabilities
